What our users say

Why petg?

Although PLA & ABS are widely known in the 3D printing community, PETG has been rapidly gaining popularity since it was launched. It has the best of both worlds, combining the functionality of ABS and the easy printing of PLA in one material.

EXCELLENT LAYER & BED ADHESION

rPETG requires bed temperatures of 60-80 C while printing. Bed adhesion is often good, and minor issues around adhesion can be easily remedied by coating the build surface with acrylic based glue-sticks or hairsprays.

LOW WARPING & SHRINKAGE

While PETG warps more than PLA, it is better than ABS. Dimensions will remain the same, making it ideal for large or very precise prints.

ODOURLESS PRINTING

Good for the planet, and for your own health. It has minimal odor and particle emission, making it an ideal material for FDM printing.

VERY STRONG MATERIAL

rPETG is one of the strongest filaments on the market – which makes it an ideal material for a wide range of uses. If you’re looking for a material that performs well when subjected to mechanical stress, rPETG is an excellent go-to.

DURABLE

The ‘G’ in rPETG stands for glycol. This additive makes the material less brittle, which adds to its high durability and impact resistance.

TEMPERATURE RESISTANT

rPETG can withstand higher temperatures than PLA, and can be used in applications with temperatures nearly 80ºC. PLA should only be used with temperatures less than 45ºC
